Leyland Daf 8×6

Hook-Lift
FOR EXPORT ONLY

The Leyland Daf 8×6 is a modern off-road truck. Having a second, un-driven, steering axle gives it greater payload capacity compared to 6×6 trucks, especially towards the front of the vehicle. This makes it ideally suited to be either fitted with a large crane immediately behind the cab or for it to be fitted with a complete, self-contained, Drill Rig. Fitted with an automatic transmission it is a pleasure to operate. They are currently used by the British Army fitted with the EKA IMMLC (DROPS) Hook-Lift in logistical roles.
